The rise of the truly "mobile novel"!

The UK Times Online website has a fascinating story about "books published, read and, in several cases, written on mobile telephones, most of them by young women in their 20s." Needless to say, this has sparked some pretty intense debate over what counts as "literature" and the "future pf reading". It certainly has enormous implications for narrative consumption and production!

I'm guessing they're using romanized script (rōmaji)--but it's a very good question and I'll look into it.
