Virtual Reality and Mental Health Treatment

This morning on Good Morning America there was a segment on research being done at Duke University that employs virtual reality to treat crack cocaine addiction. The university is also studying the use of VR to treat other disorders too. This is pretty amazing to me.

Wow! This is fascinating! I'm gonna try to follow this research. I am intrigued by the mention of using text messaging as a reminder system to help with treatment...really is making me think harder about interesting uses for text messages in other applications. This one's really got me thinking!

That's such a great idea, text messaging is something that isn't used to its full potential. It is one of the quickest ways to contact someone.
