I Can't Import Music

Hi all. I have been trying to import music into movie maker with no success. It always says the file format is not a supported file format. I've tried Cd's I own, Cd's I've burned, what do I do? Is there some conversion I need to do? What format do they need to be in? Any help would be great.

Hi Erin,
When I imported music into Windows Movie Maker I first downloaded music in 360 Share (a music downloading program). After the downloads were complete I put them into my music folder. Then I went back into movie maker and clicked on import music/audio. It allowed me to browse through my music folder and double click on the song I wanted to use. Then the music icon automatically appeared in movie maker. I know you mentioned something about importing music from cds. You may want to try saving those songs onto the computer first rather than importing them directly from the cd. Hope this helps!

Hi,
I also did what kelly did. You have to save the cd files from your cd's and put them into your my music folder, then you import them into movie maker. It took me a number of tries before I actually got it! Goodluck
