Couldn't parse it

Hello everyone! I was wondering if someone can help me with the following: I downloaded a video from YouTube and converted it using vixy.net. When I went to drag the downloaded video into iMovie I got an error message saying 'the file could not be imported because "Quick Time couldn't parse it: 2048" What the heck does that mean? And how can I get around it?

i've no idea what "parse" means in this context!

Did you try "importing" it from inside Windows Movie Maker, rater than just clicking and dragging?

Or, try downloading it again and see if that helps. sometimes the download process can cause a glitch.

Innes: I used vixy.net to convert and download the video.

Michele: I will try importing from inside iMovie and downloading again if necessary. Thanks.
